Hear my pain

I haven't included relationship breakup songs, as there are so many to choose from that you shouldn't have any trouble finding some.

If you are in great emotional pain or feel suicidal, ring the Samaritans for support. In the UK their number is 08457 90 90 90.

Highly recommended: 'Sympathy'  by Rare Bird (Lyrics)

Anger
Anger is a normal human emotion. Pretending it doesn't exist may lead to depression, a form of anger turned in on itself. Acting on anger of course can lead to other problems, such as violence and continuous conflict. One response is to learn how to negotiate and problem solve better. Another is to let anger out in a safe way, e.g. by releasing it physically through dance, shouting or hitting a cushion. The below songs may help you in this.

Be My Enemy (The Waterboys) Lyrics

* Hammer (Bob Marley) Lyrics

Smash It Up (The Damned) Lyrics

Take This Job And Shove It (The Dead Kennedys) Lyrics

Also look out for

* I Hate You (David Peel and The Lower East Side)
